The QuickSilver Drilling System (QDS) is the latest innovation in the next generation of quick moving drilling rigs.

This design focuses on making the operator more competitive in the drilling market through economy of movement, safer operating parameters, reduced Rig-up/Rig-down (RU/RD) time and the utilization of technology.

Quilcksilver Features:

• The QDS is designed to Rig-Down/Rig-Up on a new location within 100 miles in less than 48 hours.
• The QDS has multiple skids that incorporate several drilling systems on a single skid.
• All components requiring elevation are raised with hydraulic cylinders.
• The QDS design minimizes the number of components requiring disassembly for rig moves.
• No cranes are required for either rigging up or rigging down.
• The round-bottom mud tanks minimize settling and eliminate the need for Mud
  Guns.
• IDM DC-SCR and IDM AC-VFD Control Systems are designed to provide maximum efficiency in rig operations.
• The QDS Drillers’ Cabin is climate controlled and contains the latest in touch screen technology controls and rig monitoring sytems.
• IDM’s Electronic Driller provides automated control of weight-on-bit (WOB), rate of penetration (ROP) and rotary torque (RT).
